Architectonically and historically valued building, from the beginning serving as the seat of a post office, survived the test of time and now wakes up into a new era.

A monumental corner building with neo-Renaissance front face coming from 1877 represents a valuable architectonic monument of Brno history and a significant urbanistic element of our town.
The surviving contemporary facing with the typically beveled corner divided with fore-body reveal 2 spacious inner courtyards.

At first it was Ztracená, then Můstek and eventually Poštovská; one of the most frequented streets in the center of Brno was renamed by the town 126 years ago owing to the tradition of this institution. The name survived wars and communism, when the list of streets resembled rather a list of politic names. Mailmen held office in the house at Poštovská street number 3 for 138 years, but now it has changed!
